To start the payment collection, the cashier must open the till. Till opening is initiated from menu item “Till → Open/Close session”. Note that if the cashier already has till opened, then till session closure window will be opened (Figure 121). If the cashier has no till opened, till session opening window appears (Figure 120).

When till session is created, the user can start working with payment collection. Opened till session is recorded in a till session list (1.3 View till session list).
